1. Who we are
Sky1 is a brand of Aerial Kinetics Private Limited, an Indian company headquartered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. In this policy "we", "us", and "our" refer to Aerial Kinetics. We act as the data fiduciary for personal data collected through sky1.ai.

2. Data we collect
We only collect the data we need to do what you've asked of us.
- Contact / enquiry form — when you submit the form at
/contact, we collect the fields you provide (name, official email, phone or WhatsApp number, company / production house, the product you're interested in, and your message). For SkyBlitz drone-show enquiries this also includes event date, city / venue, and a budget tier. We additionally record your IP address and submission timestamp on the server for fraud and abuse prevention. - Server logs — our nginx and API services log request paths, status codes, and IP addresses. Logs are retained for up to 30 days for security and capacity-planning purposes.
- Cookies — sky1.ai sets one functional cookie,
sky1_session, only on the authenticated/adminarea used by Sky1 staff. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. - Error monitoring — we use Sentry to capture client and server errors. Replays on the public site mask all text and block media; the entire
/adminarea is excluded from session replay.
3. How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry — typically within 24 hours during business days.
- To follow up on drone-show, FleetOS, or Axion opportunities you've raised.
- To investigate security incidents, abuse, or operational issues.
- To improve site reliability, performance, and content.
We do not use your data for advertising profiling, and we do not train AI models on personal data submitted to us.
4. Sharing
We don't sell your data. We share it only with the infrastructure providers that host or process it on our behalf:
- DigitalOcean — hosts the sky1.ai web and API servers.
- Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) — error and performance monitoring.
- Cloudflare / Let's Encrypt — TLS certificates and DDoS protection (where applicable).
We disclose data to law-enforcement only where legally compelled.
5. Data retention
Contact-form submissions are retained for up to 24 months from the date of submission, after which they are deleted unless an active engagement requires longer retention (in which case retention is governed by our agreement with you). Server logs are retained for up to 30 days.
6. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and, where applicable, the EU GDPR, you have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or update inaccurate data.
- Ask us to delete data we no longer need to retain.
- Withdraw consent for any processing that depends on it.
- Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India (or your local supervisory authority).
To exercise any of these rights, email sales@sky1.ai. We respond within 30 days.
7. Security
All traffic to and from sky1.ai is encrypted with TLS 1.2+. Data at rest is stored on access-controlled servers with no public network interface other than the API itself. Admin authentication uses HTTP-only, SameSite=Strict, Secure cookies with short expiry; passwords are hashed with bcrypt. We rate-limit public form submissions to prevent abuse.
8. Children
sky1.ai is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted data, contact us and we'll delete it.
9. International transfers
Some of our infrastructure providers are based outside India. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on contractual safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) and on the providers' published security commitments.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be flagged on the site for at least 14 days.
